How texting works across add-ons

Org-wide texting is purchased once. Any module that “includes texting” unlocks SMS for the whole organization. If you already have texting (from Kids Check-in, standalone Texting, or Projects with texting), add other modules at their base price — you don’t pay for texting twice.

Texting (standalone)

$20/month

Org-wide SMS without Kids Check-in — for cancellations, reminders, and staff-approved texts when you don’t need the nursery module. Unlocks texting for other modules at their base price.

Text usage (Twilio-based)

On top of any monthly plan that includes texting, messages are billed per segment:

  • SMS — $0.02 / segment
  • MMS — $0.04 / segment

200 short nursery pickup texts ≈ $4 usage that month. Longer messages may use multiple segments. US carrier / A2P fees may apply as pass-through. Members must opt in where required.

Grades, attendance, discipline, and guidance with stronger data isolation for student records. Expect a higher monthly than Kids Check-in because of secure student-data requirements. When texting is offered, the same rule applies: base price without SMS, or with-texting price unless texting is already unlocked.
